Tools. Knife, hammer, brush or brush and palette knife, angle iron; as well as glue, varnish and the cork parquet.
Preparation of the floor. Make sure the floor is perfectly clean, smooth and levelled. If that is not the case, smoothen out the floor with levelling paste.

Preliminary laying of floor tiles. Before fixing the cork parquet distribute the tiles on the floor as show in drawing 2. Pay attention to:
a) maximal use of the tiles.
b) avoiding little gaps at the borders.
c) the first tile being collocated in the middle of the room, never along the walls.

Glue, hammer and varnish. Cover the surface you want to lay the tile on as well as the rear side of the tile with our glue SURO. Do not apply glue too enerously and distribute well. Lay the tile only when tile and floor are noticeably dray.

Once a few tiles are laid in their exact position, they are finally fixed lightly hammering, not on the tile itself, but on a piece of wood held between tile and hammer to avooid damaging the tile.

Before varnishing, sandpaper the whole surface. The surface needs to be vacuum cleaned to remove all the dust. Apply three layers of varnish SURO. Leave each layer at keast six hours to dray before applying the next layer or varnish. It is necessary to lightly sandpaper the surface after each layer.

Important.
a) Remember to lay the first tile centrally.
b) Distinguish well between front and rear side of the tile.
c) Always remove dust with a humid cloth.
d) Do not pour the rest of the varnish down any drains nor rinse the brush used to varnish with water.
